About Free Indeed: Laura & Rhonda

Study Content: Scripture and Self Confrontation Curriculum.

Group Overview: Breaking free from addiction begins with recognizing that true freedom comes through Christ. Scripture like 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God provides a way out of every temptation, offering hope and strength to overcome. By relying on God's power through prayer, renewing our minds with His Word (Romans 12:2), and seeking accountability within the Body of Christ, we can walk in lasting freedom.  Class meets in the Overflow- Classroom #6

Leader Bio(s): Laura is a 63-year-old retiree currently residing in Belton, Texas. Originally from California, she relocated to Texas seven years ago in search of a quieter pace of life and a strong sense of community. She has been married for 17 years, and although they do not have children, her life has been enriched by meaningful relationships and a commitment to personal growth and service. Retirement has provided her with the opportunity to focus on faith, community involvement, and enjoying the blessings of this season of life.

Rhonda is a 43-year-old mother of two daughters. She has attended Crossroads for approximately 1.5 years. Although she does not personally struggle with addiction, she lost a brother to alcoholism and experienced another brother's struggle with drug addiction. She wants everyone to live free from the addictions of this world.
