Empowered Single Parents: Angie Karraker

Study Content: The Bible as an empowering guide for single parents.

Group Overview: This is your invitation to connect with other single parents. During group meetings, we will tackle the challenges of raising kids in either a co-parenting environment or by ourselves. The goal is to empower single parents and help form a tribe of people to encourage and support each other in all, with fun and laughter along the way. 

Group Leader Bio: Angie is a single mom to two teenage boys (16 and 12). She is employed as a middle school science teacher and loves her job. It is wonderful getting to do things outside, playing games, and enjoying time with friends. Angie prioritizes loving and serving God, and she wants to encourage others along their journeys. On August 5, 2021, she and her boys began a new chapter of their lives by getting baptized together. Growing up a Pastor’s kid, she has always been involved in church. Angie served as a Children’s Pastor for a few years when she lived in North Carolina. Her family moved to Texas in 2015 and has loved calling it home ever since.
